In my opinion Wales have really good chances to make 3 points in today’s match and be one step closer to Euro 2024.

First match between both teams in this group finished with shocking Armenia 4:2 win in Cardiff, but that wasn’t deserved result at all: expected goals scored for Wales 2.39, for Armenia 1.07. I believe Wales have all required tools to make revenge today.

Both teams in totally different mood at the moment. Armenia played well in this group, but they lost last 2 matches in a row and they are without chances for qualification. They played very poor at home against Croatia. Despite 0:1 loss doesn’t look bad, Armenia played on very low level in that game: expected goals scored for Armenia 0.21, for Croatia 4.02. In last round they recorded poor and painful loss on away against poor Latvia (and Latvia received red card at the start of the second half..). Armenia finished that game with lower expected goals score number than opponents.

On the other hand atmosphere in Wales team is great, even their injured captain Ramsey travelled with all squad to Armenia. Guests confidence is on the highest possible level. In last round they won 2:1 at home against Croatia and looks like that was turning point. Midfielder James said yesterday: “On paper, that was the toughest game in the group, but we’re not going to take the next two games lightly. We know what it means to the country to get to these big tournaments, so that’s our focus and hopefully we can do that. Coming into this camp now, we’ll look back on that Croatia game and take confidence into the next two.” That was also huge game for Wilson, expectations about him are huge since long time, but he scored 2 goals against Croatia, he said: "We know what we did wrong in that game and we know what we've got to do on Saturday to put that right. For sure we owe them one. They played a fantastic game, but we also know we weren't at the levels we've been at since. If we can perform like we did against Croatia, I'm pretty confident we can get a result." In addition to that, key striker Brennan Johnson from Tottenham is available today. Squad situation is good, coach Page said: ‘’It's probably the healthiest position we've been in. It's good but it gives you the problem of who to start. We're all looking forward to this game."

Wales have bigger quality in overall and with better form, atmosphere and bigger confidence they should be able to win!
