In my opinion Armenia have bigger chances than bookies wants to suggest for us in their odds.

In first match against Latvia, Armenia won at home 2:1 by late goal, but difference in terms of quality between both sides was much bigger than results shows. Armenia had 67% ball possession, 21 shots and over 2.00 expected goals scored. Latvia recorded only one shot (!!!) and scored by own goal.

Armenia coming for this game with big motivation as they still have realistic chances for Euro2024. Latvia don’t have any chances for qualification and they plays for nothing. In their country football is not too popular. Cold evening, not too many people’s in the crowd as Armenia is not too attractive opposition to watch. Guests coming here with goal to achieve and their motivation should make big difference.

As first match showed, Armenia is much better team. They have quality players in their squad like Zelarayan from Al Fateh or Ranos from Borussia M’Gladbach. With such players they don’t have big problems with goalscoring (8 goals in this group, only Croatia have more – 9) Guests already showed their potential on the road as they won away match against Wales and recorded draw 1:1 in Turkey.

Latvia have problems with creativity – only 3 goals scored in this group so far. They don’t have any stability or consistency at the back: 12 goals conceded in last 4 matches in this group and in each game conceded more than once. In addition to that, today they going to play without their key central defender Tobers (he is suspended). It’s huge blow, no doubt about it.

On those circumstances I see excellent value on away side. Armenia is able to score more than one goal and that simply should be enough to make 3 points here.
