PSV Eindhoven vs Glasgow Rangers

The first leg ended in a 2:2 draw.

PSV is having a really nice start to the season this year and playing some really good football and fun to watch. In their last elimination round they had no problem to defeat Sturm Graz by 4:1 at home and 3:1 on the road, they also won their SuperCup against their rival Feyenoord and already won their first league game but their main goal is to make the Champions League and coming home with a draw is not a bad result at all. PSV plays a very attractive football and very attacking one and that's because of their Coach but sometimes that give them some problems like we saw in the first game where they suffered the 1:0 after a huge mistake and the 2:1 in a counter-attack and in the end they made another mistake what almost costed them the draw, however, they also create a lot by playing like this and when you have players like Bakayoko, Lang, Sangare, Veerman and Dest you will be super offensive and have chances to score and of course DeJong on set pieces is also a terror like he showed in the 1st leg.

Rangers in their last elimination rounds beat Servette by 2:1 at home and 1:1 on the road. For me Rangers is a weaker team than PSV but they know how to eliminate PSV, they showed that last season but I think that this PSV team is a much stronger one and also last season they got very lucky in their road game against PSV, they beat them 1:0 but PSV played better and missed goals after goals, especially in that first half. Unlike PSV, Rangers had a league game in between this game and made some little rotations thinking about this games.

This two teams know each other pretty well, last year in a similiar situation the first leg also ended in a 2:2 and than Rangers with some luck beat PSV on the road by 1:0 and eliminated PSV, so revenge is on PSV mind and I believe that this time they will beat Rangers. For me PSV is the better team but sometimes they are their own enemy, like we saw in the first game they suffered 2 very stupid goals but they had a whole week to prepare for this encounter and put all their chips in this game and if they play like they are capable they should beat Rangers here and get their ticket to the Champions League.
