Kemar Roofe and James Tavernier scored four minutes apart in the first half for the team's second league win in as many outings. For this return leg, I am expecting a win for PSV for the following reasons:

Firstly. PSV did not have a league game at the weekend, so they head into the decisive second leg with a week's rest. PSV Eindhoven are looking to reach the group stage of a European competition for the sixth season in a row. The Dutch Super Cup winners enter this winner-takes-all clash with an astonishing 23-game unbeaten run to protect since February's Europa League humbling at the hands of seasoned winners Sevilla, although their first-leg draw did snap a six-game winning streak for Bosz's boys.

Secondly. PSV have now found the back of the net at least twice in five successive matches and have not suffered a single competitive defeat at Philips Stadion so far in 2023, winning 13 and drawing one of their last 14 games in front of their own supporters. While PSV were blessed with a weekend off from domestic duties, Rangers were not afforded such a luxury and travelled to Ross County on Saturday for their latest Scottish Premiership affair. So, they may be a little lethargic.

Rangers' form is also good, but they have struggled in Europe recently, especially away from home. The visitors come into this game with just one win from their last nine away games in Europe. Seven of those games were defeats. With PSV's extended period of rest and strong home form, I am expecting a win from them tomorrow.
