Young Boys vs Maccabi Haifa

Young Boys are here after becoming the Swiss Champions last season where they completly dominated, easily won the league and were dominant everywhere and the next step now is too make the Champions League and their chances are looking good, especially after getting a draw in that tough enviroment in Israel. Playing in Maccabi isn't easy at this time of the year, it's very hot and Maccabi is really strong at home but Young Boys played solid and overall they were the better team but it was a very close encounter with not many chances for both teams so the draw was kinda fair but that result was a good one for Young Boys because now they are at home and have all their chances to make the Champions League group stage, for that they just need to win here.

Maccabi Haifa already had two eliminations before this one, they eliminated Sheriff Tiraspol and Slovan Bratislava but this Young Boys team is a different caliber of a team and we saw that in the 1st leg, those two teams that they eliminated they dominated them at home and struggled on the road but this team they had problems against Young Boys because this Young Boys team is a very organised team on the field and defends really well even their best players like Chery, Haziza and Pierrot had a lot of problems against them, overall, Maccabi Haifa needed to win that 1st leg because on the road it will be way tougher but they didn't won and now they will need to play a perfect game here to dream once against to make the Champions League like last season.

Like I said, Young Boys survived that enviroment in Israel and are coming home with a draw in their bag, now they just need to win at home and get their ticket to the Champions League edition this season but for that to happen they need to play well like in the 1st game, super organised and very solid defending and at home they will have more space and confidence to attack because even in the 1st leg when they put a bit of pressure on Maccabi Haifa they create some decent chances and forced a lot of passing errors on Maccabi Haifa side and today at home I expect to see more of that and more frequent, overall I expect Young Boys to win this game here, they are a very strong unit and very balanced overall from defense to attack and Maccabi Haifa on the road ain't the same team than at home, they have way more issues on the road like we already saw in their last eliminations rounds but this Young Boys team is a team very capable to take advantage of that in compare to the other opponents.
