Montedio and Okayama lock horns in this Japan J2 League round 13 battle at ND Soft Stadium Yamagata in Tendo Friday afternoon Beijing time. This is the second-highest level of Japanese football. The level of this league is mediocre by global standards – for a second tier I mean. Football fans and us serious, profit-hungry bettors can expect a match of better than average quality by this competition's standards here. As a result, I have raised their power rating from my in-depth preseason rating. For example the current leaders, Shimizy S-Pulse, have allowed 13 goals. It is impossible to mention anything negative about Okayama's defence at the moment. Montedio Yamagata have a decent 16 points to their account and have not played badly. "Mediocre" would be the best word to describe their performances this season. The visitors do have an edge in all areas of the game with the expected lineups and deserve to be solid favourites here as the hosts do not have very good home fans.. Both teams have won once – and lost twice in their last three games but I liked Okayama's performances on the pitch much more than the hosts'..
