Indonesia achieved a huge result in the previous round beating Korea Republic in the penalties, a result which I didn’t expect. This has been a huge success for them, but the truth is that they have been very lucky as Korea Republic created many chances they wasted, received a red card, and Indonesia scored two lucky goals.

Indonesia’s performances have been lucky so far, including the undeserved victory against Australia in group stage, and have not been solid in defense at all.They’ll need to improve here a lot in this area, because Uzbekistan won’t concede too much and if they leave them to score 2-3 goals, the match will be surely lost.

Marselino Ferdinan Rafael Struick have been their key players so far.

On the other hand, Uzbekistan showed that they are the best team in the tournament. They beat a title contender and current champions - Saudi Arabia, and made another great performance. I mentioned in the previous pick that I didn’t see any weakness, and they confirmed that in the Saudi Arabia’s game where they made another good game.

Uzbekistan’s generation has a lot of talent and quality. They looked excellent with possession and also with counters. They are undoubtedly the favorites to win the title. Several players have been impressive attack for Uzbekistan so far: striker Ruslanbek Jiyanov, Jasurbek Jaloliddinov, Abbosbek Fayzullaev… They are a team with lot of quality and experience.

They have won all games so far, scoring 12 goals and still yet to concede. Winning this game they could qualify to the Olympic games for the first time in their history, which is a big motivation for them.

Uzbekistan has much more quality, has proven to have several attack weapons and be a very difficult team to beat. I see them being able to create chances to score at least a couple of goals, and also to keep the goal to nil one more time.

Quality difference is huge here and I’m expecting an easy game by Uzbekistan. They made amazing performances so far and have been very strong, whilst Indonesia have been very lucky and this game will be their toughest test, which I believe they are not ready to overcome.
