Newcastle United vs Luton Town

Newcastle season has been quite poor in compare to last season, many injuries but also european competition games but the break seems to came at the right time for them because now they look fresher, they beat Fulham 2:0 on the road in the Cup and than beat Aston Villa by 3:1 on the road too, quite surprising results since Newcastle has been a mess on the road all season long but to be fair, they looked really good against Aston Villa, fresh, good intensity and strong in set pieces plays and now they are at home where they have been really good this season, 8 wins in 11 home games but they do are coming of two home losses in a row to Nottingham Forest and Manchester City but against Manchester City they played a good game.

For this game Newcastle is without Tonali, Joelinton, Pope, Targett, Anderson and Willock. Barnes, Wilson, Lascelles and Isak are doubtful but seems that some of them should be ready to play too.

Luton Town is a team that in the begin of the season I said, they will get relegated because of lack of talent and the only thing that can make them survive in this league if somehow their collective play will be amazing and to be fair, Luton struggled big time but lately they have been playing really well and having good results because collective wise they have been solid and that's the reason why they are in 17th place now even it will still be very difficult for them to survive because the only reason why they are in the safe spot is because Everton got that 10 point reduction.

For this game Luton is without Nakamba, Anderson and Lockyer.

I think this is the perfect game for Newcastle to bounce back with a win at home, they are a very strong home team who plays usually really well even with all their troubles this season at home they have been a force and also because match up wise it's a good fit for Newcastle, Luton usually takes advantage of their set pieces to create problems but that's an area where Newcastle is strong too so it will not be an easy task for Luton to create many chances that way and Newcastle after this little break they look way more fresher and focused and showed a great performance against Aston Villa, they should be confident here to get another win in my opinion and I believe they will beat Luton here by 2:1 or 3:1.
