In my opinion Monaco have really good chances to make 3 points in today's match up.

Monaco have really solid record at this stadium as they won 4 of last 6 away matches against Lorient.

Lorient had a lot of luck in current season so far. In first match avoided loss on away against PSG (0:0), but team from Paris really dominated the game and should win. In second round they recored draw 1:1 on away against Montpellier, but that wasn't deserved result at all: expected goals scored for Montpellier 1.62, for Lorient 0.57. In third round they won 4:1 at home against Lille, but Lille for sure deserved for more as they had 8 shots more than Lorient and 64% ball possesion (similar expected goals scored number). In last round Lorient recorded very painful 0:3 loss on the road against Le Havre and that was fully deserved result as they played on really low level. Defensive formation don't have stability, opponents in every game creating many chances to score. On the other hand they have huge problems with creativity - only two teams in whole league produced less expected goals scored so far. In addtion to that, important winger Dieng is unavailable today.

On the other hand Monaco looking impressive with new coach Adolf Hutter on the bench. Looks like players really enjoying his tactic and methods. Offensive formation works on outstanding level, trio: Golovin, Yedder, Minamino is almost unstoppable. Monaco scored more than two goals in all 4 matches so far. For sure they are able to make big damage for Lorient unstale defense. In addition to that, Monaco also have some good rhythm at the back (2 clean sheets in last 3 rounds). Everything clicking together.

Monaco is for sure top3 material for current campaign, but if they wants to achieve that, they have to win such matches against lower rank opponents without any excuses.

Monaco is able to score more than one goal and that should be enough to make 3 points.
