In my opinion Antwerp have bigger chances to avoid loss in this game than bookies wants to suggest for us.

Antwerp won first match 1:0 at home. They scored early goal and showed good consistency in defense till the end of the match as they were able to keep clean sheet with one player less on the pitch (red card 51’). That should be the key also today.

Antwerp looking good at the back in current season. In last 5 matches in all competitions they conceded only 2 goals (one from penalty kick), but for me is not big surprise as they kept top players in squad like central defender Alderweireld or defensive midfielder Vermeeren. On the other hand AEK have problems with finishing product, that was visible in first match in Belgium, but that was also very visible in league game at home 4 days ago when they had 36 shots, but scored only 1 goal. Their top offensive players from previous season like Araujo, Garcia or Eliasson are out of form at the moment. I don’t see more than one goal for AEK here.

AEK defensive formation is not rock solid at the moment. They conceded 3 goals in two matches in previous round of Champions League qualies against Dinamo Zagreb. They also conceded goal 4 days ago at home against Panserraikos. For me is hard to imagine clean sheet for them against super dangerous Antwerp offensive formation. Guests have a lot of firepower and their top scorer Janssen is in great form – he scored 4 goals in 4 matches, he also scored in first match against AEK.

I believe Antwerp have all required tools to score at least one goal today and that should be enough to avoid loss and get qualification into Champions League group stage.
