In my opinion Yokohama have bigger chances to avoid loss in this game than bookies wants to suggest for us in their odds.

Yokohama is just one point above relegation zone and I’m sure they will give absolutely everything to avoid loss today front of home crowd. I see good improvement in their last performances. They were able to avoid loss on away against top6 Hiroshima, then recorded 2:0 win at home against leader of the table Kobe. In last round they lost 0:2 on away against Fukuoka, but match was much closer than scoreline suggest: expected goals scored for Fukuoka 0.61, for Yokohama 0.53. Now team coming back to home and wants to bounce back on good track as soon as possible.

This is not the best moment of the season for Cerezo Osaka, no doubt about that. So far in August - they have been knocked out from Cup after loss in penalties at home against the worst league in J1 (Shonan). They lost 0:1 at home against Tokyo and they recorded draw 1:1 at home against poor Kashiwa. For sure team confidence is on very low level. In addition to that, looks like they have problems with concentration – in last 3 consecutive matches Cerezo conceded goal in first 15 minutes of the match.

Pressure is on the guests, but in current shape I don’t see easy match for them. Yokohama for sure have a lot of self-belief after last home game and win against Vissel Kobe. They have all required tools to make big troubles for Cerezo today.
