In my opinion Gremio have bigger chances to avoid loss than bookies wants to suggest for us in their odds.

Flamengo won 2:0 in first match so they have really comfortable situation, but Gremio played better than results shows. They had 11 shots and missed some big chances to score.

Gremio plays good season, they are in top3 in top table. Team coming in good mood after 2:1 home win against Fluminense. Guests don't have nothing to lose and for sure will give absolutely everything to make win here and get qualification into big final. In 2016 Gremio won this competition, in 2020 played in final. Geromel, Carballo and Cristaldo trained normally and should travel to Rio de Janeiro. We will see on the pitch all key offensive stars like Cristaldo, Bitello or Luis Suarez. I believe they have all required tools to score at least one goal today.

Flamengo conceded 7 goals in last 3 matches. Today probably without key central defender David Luiz who had a muscle discomfort in last game. Team is not in good mood - 3 matches without a win, get knocked from Copa Libertadores.

In my opinion Sao Paulo is clear favorite and should be able to win front of home crowd.

In first match Sao Paulo lost 1:2 on away, but that wasn't deserved result at all. They had 10 shots more in that game (missed some big chances, hit the woodwork) and finished with 59% ball possession.

Sao Paulo is superb team at home - 7 wins in 10 home league matches and 18 goals scored. Today I expect very strong performance in attack because two new big signings James Rodriguez (former Real Madrid) and Lucas Moura (former Tottenham) are ready to go and for sure wants to show up front of home crowd. Other key players like Beraldo, Rafinha, Calleri (best scorer) or Luciano are available today.

Corinthians have serious problems on the road - 6 losses in 10 away league matches and 14 goals conceded in the process. Their best player (according to the ratings) Roger Guedes (also best scorer in current season) moved Al Rayyan. Huge blow, no doubt about that.

Sao Paulo won 4 of last 6 home matches against Corinthians and they have all required tools to do it today again.
