In my opinion Copenhagen have really good chances to avoid loss in today’s match up.

In overall I see Copenhagen as a stronger and more experienced team. They played in Champions League group stage in previous season and they were even able to avoid loss at home against champions from last edition – Manchester City. On the other hand Sparta Prague didn’t played in group stage since 2005/2006. Difference is visible even if You look on teams squad value. Copenhagen is worth x 0.5 in comparison to Sparta Prague and that should be visible today on the pitch.

First match between both teams finished with draw 0:0, but that wasn’t deserved result at all. Copenhagen played much better in that game and should win. They created couple big chances to score (16 shots together) and finished with 1.74 expected goals scored. Sparta doesn’t looked convincing in attack – finished with only 6 shots and had 0.41 expected goals scored. Their goalkeeper Jensen had great and saved the team from loss.

For me is really enough what I saw in opening match. Copenhagen looked like team more complete, more creative. They have also much bigger experience on this stage and that should be crucial. Now all pressure is on Sparta as they playing front of home crowd. I don’t see easy goals for hosts as they lost their best striker Cvancara (he moved to Borussia M’Gladbach).

I see value on away side.
