In my opinion Koln is clear favorite of today's match up and should be able to make comfortable win.

Both teams played each other in DFB Pokal 3 years ago and Koln won.

I see big difference between both teams in terms of quality, potential and ambitions. Koln is solid Bundesliga 1 team, in past won 4 times this competition so for sure they wants to make deep run and we can expect strong line up on the pitch. On the other hand Osnabruck last season played in Bundesliga 3. They get promotion into Bundesliga 2, but once again they looking like relegation material.

Bundesliga not started yet, so this game is final test for all Koln squad. I'm sure we will see on the pitch the strongest possible line up and players will give absolutely everything to go into next round.

For Osnabruck main goal for current season is to avoid relegation from Bundesliga2. They started slow as they recorded only one point in first two matches. At the weekend they going to play very important league game and I'm not sure today's game have the highest priority for them.

Also is not the longest trip for guests. It's about 2h drive by car from Cologne to Osnabruck.

Koln is better team with stronger motivation to win.
