They are currently in the 7th place in the standings. However, their number of expected points (xPTS) is a little smaller. Their score difference is not particularly good – 12-16 to be precise.

On paper KTP are not really much better than IFK Mariehamn but on the pitch they have definitely been better than the hosts. However, KTP are at their best at home in front of loyal fans. Even so, they have beaten Honka, a strong team away from home this season and also fought well against the best team in Veikkausliiga, HJK in Helsinki some three weeks ago despite losing 0-1. They could easily have taken a draw in this match where they were massive underdogs on the betting market. IFK Mariehamn are a pretty good home team but it seems that the bookies give the home advantage too much emphasis here. We must not forget that by Pure class the hosts are the worst team in Veikkausliiga. They have just nine points in their pocket and KTP have an edge in all areas of the game. Taking the home advantage into account KTP are only marginal favorites here. The bookies see the hosts as solid favorites offering them odds of around 2.35 to take all three points. KTP +0.5 goals is the obvious bet here! IFK Mariehamn upset KuPS away from home this week (0-1) but had a lot of luck in this game that seems to affect the odds too much here.
