One of the oldest rivalry in English football features on Sunday as two of the biggest teams in England battles for the three points at Anfield. Manchester United is steaming with confidence after their triumph in the English League Cup final against Newcastle United while Liverpool has been able to string a couple of wins. I'm predicting this game to end in an away win or draw for Manchester United for the following reasons;

[1] Under Erik Ten Hag, Manchester United has not lost a game to Liverpool. The former Ajax manager was confident of ending the Manchester City and Liverpool dominance and he started in great fashion. Few months after his appointment, Erik Ten Hag would beat Liverpool 4-0. The next month, both teams met in the first leg of their English Premier League game at Old Trafford and again, Man Utd came out on top, beating Liverpool 2-1. The new Man Utd manager has always made Liverpool look clueless against his team, setting up a great defense and hitting them on the counter attack. Erik Ten Hag had the chance to make it three wins in three games against Liverpool and I have no doubts he can lead his team to a win or draw at Anfield on Sunday.

[2] Man Utd is easily a top three team in the world currently. They have the record for the most wins in all competitions this season, leading the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City. The Red Devils broke their six year trophy drought last week in the FA Cup win and they are more confident than ever. This is the best Man Utd side in the last decade and they have not lost in their last ten games. Liverpool had a few good results recently but that does not take away the fact that they have been a shadow of themselves this season. They are sitting outside the top four and it looks like they will miss out on a place in Europe's biggest competition next season. Man Utd should have no problems getting a win or draw against Jurgen Klopp's team.

Man Utd is simply unbeatable at the moment, they managed to get a draw from Camp Nou last month and they beat Barcelona at the Old Trafford. Those are the kind of games that gives a team confidence. I'm predicting this game to end in a win or draw for Manchester United.
