Sligo isn’t a strong team in Ireland even if this season they are actually doing better and have less problems defensively thanks to player as Buckley, Horgan, Blaney etc

They are going on this game with full confidence as they made a huge win over Derry who is one of the best team in Ireland. They got 2,06 xG, they got more possession, got more shots so of course they deserved that win and it wasn’t a hold up.

Sligo against Shamrock lost 3-1 but it was a close game, they got more xG than Shamrock as they had 1.2 and Shamrock 1,02.

On their side Dublin when they faced Shamrock they lost 0-3 and were completely dominated, they got 0,08 xG, 39% possession.

Sligo isn’t a strong team to trust but I rate the game more important this season between both teams. Dublin was already in trouble offensively but now since two games that Whelan is missing it’s going to be more problematic.
