剧情描述已婚的法兰克和茱莉经常搭乘同一班火车往返于西契斯与纽约曼哈顿之间，一次在圣诞前夕，他们往同一家书店购书，双方彼此认识，并且一直交往下去，终于不可避免地碰到了应否灵欲合一的问题。During shopping for Christmas, Frank and Molly run into each other. This fleeting short moment will start to change their lives, when they recognize each other months later in the train home and have a good time together. Although both are married and Frank has two little kids, they meet more and more often, their friendship becoming the most precious thing in their lives.
