Atletico made one of the most stranged things in the 1st leg, after a couple minutes of the start of the game the team played literally in a 5-5-0 formation, I never saw such a thing in my life but to be fair they made things hard for Manchester City to break their defensive line but with a big cost, Atletico was a non factor all game long, 0 shots on goal, 0 shots on target and 0 corner-kicks, it was just crazy to watch really but in the end they suffered 1 goal against from Kevin De Bruyne and for the 2nd leg Atletico can't play like this because they need somehow to score goals in this game what will be tough because in that case they can't put all their effort on defending so Manchester City can be really dangerous against them in this game, because we saw what happened when City finally scored, Atletico tried to play a bit more offensive and City was dominating them even more. For this game Atletico are without Gimenez and Herrera.

Manchester City are coming of their game of the season, they most important was not losing to Liverpool and they haven't, so they are still in first place and looking at their schedule is way easier than Liverpool one, now they can focus to the other goal what is finally winning the Champions League and so far so good, they are in the right direction after winning the 1st leg at home by 1:0 and like I said, that game was nutts because Atletico defended with 10 men against them but even so Manchester City was able to create some chances and finally they were able to score, that goal was very important because if that game ends in a 0:0 today Atletico approach would be the same once again and it would be hard for City to break a team who defends with 10 players, but with the lead I expect Atletico to open up and risk more and that is when Manchester City can really hurt them. For this game Manchester City is without Palmer, Mendy and Gabriel Jesus who is suspended.

The difference between both teams are huge for me, right now Liverpool and Manchester City are the best teams in the world and we saw that in that 2:2 game, both teams playing crazy football and really high quality and Atletico don't have the players to match them, it was really hard to see a team defend with 10 men just to believe that they have a chance in that tactic and they almost got the 0:0 but with 0:1 down Atletico can't play like this, like I said, they had 0 corners, and 0 shots on goal or on target so another tactic will be need it here today, they need to risk more and that will benefit the speed that Manchester City has in their attack, of course, there is a risk that Atletico Madrid somehow scores the 1:0 and if that happens I bet things will get hard because they will defend with 10 once again but overall I just think this City team is just too good and if they score first I see them controlling this game and win this game by 2:0 or so.
