Early in the season Manchester City was dominating and had a 9 point lead over Liverpool even Liverpool has played less one game but still, that lead is now pratically over and now City needs to defend there lead against a very hot Liverpool team who has won 10 games in a row in the Premier League and City has been struggling in some games where they lost key points, like against Crystal Palace and Tottenham for example and now they need to face this Liverpool team without a key player in Ruben Dias, Ruben Dias since he arrived in Manchester City had been the clear leader in their defensive line and without him they have struggled against the good teams, against the poor teams you don't see many difference but against the good teams you can see that Ruben Dias is really missed. For this game Manchester City is without Dias, Palmer and Mendy.

Liverpool early in the season had lost many points, they had some bad luck with injuries and things were looking really tough for Liverpool, the Premier League title was looking distant because Manchester City wasn't losing points but Liverpool only could depend on themselves and start a winning streak and hope for City to start losing points and that's what happended, Liverpool has won 10 games in a row in the Premier League with 25-2 in goals and with City losing points they cut the lead to 1 point and now they depend on themselves again to win the Premier League title and for that they will need to beat Manchester City on the road what will not be easy, they only managed to beat City on the road 1 time in their last 6 trips to their stadium. For this game Liverpool has no injuries problems, the full squad is ready to play.

For me Liverpool is not the underdog here, it's true that Liverpool only won 1 game there in their last 6 trips but now things are a bit different, City without Ruben Dias will have some problems to stop Liverpool great attack and of course, City attack will also have their chances to score for sure because if we look at numbers, City has the 2nd best attack and the best defense and Liverpool has the best attack and the 2nd best defense but to be fair, in this game I believe that Liverpool is the better team, they have the full squad ready to play, their defensive line is better than City's one without Ruben Dias and Liverpool attack is also better than this City attack in my opinion, the only edge for City here is that this game is played at home but besides that I believe that Liverpool is the better team right now and in better shape. A draw is not a bad result for both teams too, especially for City because they would maintain the lead over Liverpool and I wouldn't be surprised to see this game end up in a 2:2 draw or so, but overall I don't see Liverpool has the underdog here and I think they will not lose here, I think they can even win the game but like I said, a draw would not surprise me either.
