The last pair in the quarterfinals of the Turkish Cup are Alanyaspor and Gaziantep. The mood in the teams before the match is different, and the quality is without a doubt on the side of the hosts. After 4 games without a win, Alanyaspor showed with a fantastic game in the last match and a 5-1 victory over the second-placed team in the championship that they are not an easy opponent and that they certainly did not give up fighting for positions leading to Europe. This victory certainly restored the necessary self-confidence in the team before entering the finals of the championship and the Turkish Cup. The propositions are that the winner of the cup will go to the Europa League and it is not impossible for the Alanyaspor team to get to play on the European scene in that way. After yesterday's defeat of Besiktas, Trabzonspor, Kayserispor and Sivasspor remained in the cup. Sivasspor is the team with which they could meet in the semifinals with a possible victory today. Objectively speaking Alanya is a much better team than Sivasspor and can be expected to play Trabzon in the final. According to everything shown this season, Alanya is my favorite in this match. They play really aggressive and offensive football and according to the number of goals scored, they are right behind the leading Trabzon. What is good for their team is the fact that there is no player who stands out, but they work great as a team and distribute goals and assists to each other. 

Gaziantep enters this match at a very bad time for them. They are in extremely bad shape and in the last 4 matches they have 3 defeats and one draw. In addition to losing games, a big problem for them is the lack of efficiency. They managed to score only 2 goals in those 4 mentioned games. Right now they are in 11th place on the table with, it can be said, only 9 points advantage over the danger zone. They are certainly a team that has no ambition to eventually reach Europe through the cup and it can be expected that they will not try much in this match to attack the home team's goal and to focus more on winning points in championship. Another problem for them will be the absence of players who are standard in the first 11. Kitsiou, Mendyl, Pehlivan and Demir did not train before this match and will certainly not be available to the visiting coach. Due to all the above, I believe that the host will emerge victorious from this match with over 2.5 goals.
