Gameday in Toyota for the first round between Nagoya & Kobe.

Nagoya will be without Yuichi Maruyama, he already trains with the team but not fit at 100%. Hiroyuki Abe is injured. Jakub Swiercozk their striker is actually suspended because of doping in the last ACL Competition

On their side Kobe is full line up but Kikuchi isn't 100% so he should be on the bench.

Last season Nagoya ended rank 5 with 19 wins, 9 draws & 10 losses for 44 goals scored & 30 goals conceded.

Kobe ended rank 3 with 21 wins, 10 draws & 7 losses for 62 goals scored & 36 goals conceded.

We are already having a big clash with two top teams, I rate the chance of Kobe really high, Nagoya is a great team but as I said above, Swiercozk will be missing and it's gonna be a big problem because he was really important last season even if he didn't played since the early of season. The other key player for Nagoya is Mateus who made an amazing AFC CL campaign but later I found him less efficient. Nagoya added Leo Silva, I don't know yet if he will be used as starter or more as a bench player like in Kashima, he his not bad but he is becoming old. As great addition there is Keiya Sento for their midfield.

Kobe has a lot of ambitions again, last year they finally made a good season. They added Tomoaki Makino from Urawa for their defense and it's gonna be a huge defense when he will play a the same time with Kikuchi.

They will have very strong qualities offensively with Osako, Bojan, Iniesta, Yuruki/Goke, Muto. Samper for their midfield but with more a defensive job.
