Arouca are not in a good position in this league, they are in the penultimate place (17th) just in front of Belenenses SAD. I thought that they would make a comfortable season after an amazing final in the last season. In the last 9 games, they have 1 win and that win they scored 2 goals in the 90+ minutes, 2 draws and 6 losses. In the last month they lost an important player Eugeni and bought another important one David Simao who went straight to the XI but that is now injured after an injury in the last game against Porto. They are very pressed after the win of yesterday by Belenenses SAD against Vitoria Guimaraes, but this game will be very tough for them as they have many misses, the goalkeeper Fernando Castro who was the goalkeeper with most games played last season is injured, the centre-back Sema Velazquez keeps injured, now the midfielder David Simao too, Pedro Moreira suspended and the 2 strikers will miss this game, Andre Silva due do suspension and Oday Dabbagh due to an injury. They are very embezzled for this game against a team that is living an amazing moment. I cannot see Arouca winning this game.

Maritimo started really bad this season with coach that personally I do not like, the spanish Julio Velazquez who did a terrible start and left Maritimo very close to the relegation places, after sacking him the president decided to buy in Vasco Seabra a promising coach who did already good works in Estoril u23 and specially on Mafra. He made already 10 games with amazing numbers, they have won 5 games, 3 draws and 2 losses against Benfica and Porto (2 of the 3 best teams in Portugal) and so it shows how the team improved with him. They come from a very good game in my opinion against Estoril where they created and consequently missed so many clear goal chances, they had 28 goal attempts against 8 by Estoril. Vasco Seabra did in my opinion the best and the easiest option since he started, he decided to play with the best player from Maritimo and one of the best from the league, the french Rafik Guitane who for sure will leave for a big club in the end of the season. They keep thinking in European places, and if they win today they can reach the 8th position which would be very good for them and very deserved. They have one important absence, the centre-back Zainadine who is a very solid defender and very fast. I really believe that they will try to win this game and they should be favorites here.
