In my opinion Brentford have really good chances to make at least one point in today's match. They should be bigger favorite to win here, odds are simply too high. Double selection as a +0 AH or +0.5 AH looks like very safe bet. I don't see Brentford loss (big possiblity of win).

Brentford have extremely solid record at home in league matches against Crystal Palace - they lost only once in 13 home league matches against them (8 wins in the process). Brentford didn't lost at home against Crystal Palace since December 1957.

Both teams are from London - Crystal Palace won only once in last 15 London derbies. They conceded at least one goal in 16 of last 17 away matches against London teams. Brentford avoided loss in 3 of last 5 such matches, they lost against stronger teams than The Eagles (Tottenham & Chelsea).

Brentford lost last 5 Premier League matches in a row, but results looks worse than their performances during that run. They played against two the strongest team in league (City & Liverpool) - fully acceptable outcomes. They lost in last two home matches, but they shouldn't at all. In both matches they had expected goals scored number bigger than their opponents (2.58 vs. 2.24 against Manchester United and 1.47 vs. 0.27 against Wolves). Brentford in current season looks extremely solid at home, even in home matches against Liverpool and Chelsea they had higher expected goals scored than their opposition. Only City were able to outplay them. According to the models, they are top6 home team in expected goals scored department.

I don't trust Crystal Palace in away matches at all. Only one win in 11 away league matches so far. In those matches they had only 9.4 expected goals scored. It's nothing new for their coach Patrick Vieira - in his former club (Nice from Ligue 1) he had in average less than 1 expected goals scored per game (37 away matches). In overall they are in poor form - only 2 wins in last 12 Premier League matches. They didn't recorded any win in league since December.

Mbueno is Brentford best assistant (28 minutes against City in last round) and third-best scorer, Toney is top striker (he scored last 3 Brentford goals & didn't played in last round) are fresh and ready to go to play on the highest level. They are able to make difference.
