In my opinion Tottenham have really good chances to make win in today's match up.

Tottenham have excellent record against Southampton as they won 10 of last 11 home matches against them in all competitions. Tottenham also don't have any problems with goalscoring against The Saints - they scored at least one goal in 20 of last 21 matches against them! I see continuation of this streak today.

Tottenham improved a lot under Antonio Conte, they lost only against Chelsea with him on the bench. Spurs wants to finish inside Top4 and they have to win in such matches without any excuses. So far they looking good in matches against lower rank teams at home - they won all 6 home matches against teams from bottom half of the table.

Is hard to trust Southampton at both ends of the pitch. Their best scorer in current season is central midfielder Ward-Prowse. That not sounds good for their strikers. Ward-Prowse scored 6 goals, but according to the expected goals scored model he should score 3.56. On the other hand Southampton defensive formation don't have any stability. They conceded at least one goal in last 11 Premier League matches in a row and I don't see clean sheet for them today as well. At the weekend they conceded a goal against lower league team Coventry and they needed extra time to win against them (2:1). For sure they not coming here with big confidence. In addition to that Southampton conceded more than one goal in 18 of last 22 away league matches.

Tottenham at the weekend recorded good 3:1 win at home against solid Brighton and for sure they want to go with momentum. Striker Kane obviously is the most important player and he scored 2 goals against Brighton. If he is on fire, Tottenham will be extremely hard to stop. He also have amazing stats against Southampton - he played 13 Premier League matches against The Saints and scored 11 goals + 6 assists. Other offensive star Son also have superb stats against them - 9 goals and 3 assists in 12 matches. He scored in last 4 home league matches and today he should have good chances to continue this streak.

All in all, I see great opportunity for Tottenham to make 3 points.
