Benin challenge Egypt in Africa Cup of Nations 1/8-finals clash at Stade Adrar Agadir, in Morocco very early Tuesday morning Beijing time. "Challenge" is, indeed, all I believe they are capable of here as Egypt are a superior team here in terms of players' pure quality! I do not expect a particularly entertaining game as I expect Benin to defend hard - and be able to create very little offensively. At least my fans and I have yet another very lucrative match to bet on! We have won five picks in a row betting on this fascinating tournament! The odds of close to 1.45 on the Egypt win (in the 90 minutes of play) may seem low but are definitely worth taking. Brave/more greedy bettors can take the Egypt -1.5 goals handicap option! Egypt are in 35th place in the FIFA Ranking but with excellent players like Salah and Marmoush I would rate them a little higher. They are one of the best organized/most disciplined African teams. Benin are not a terrible team but are in 92th place in the FIFA Ranking  - ´which reflects the massive difference in class between the teams. In my expert opinion they are, with the best possible starting eleven, the 96th-best national team on the planet. They have no real weapons in terms of tactics or individuals to hurt Egypt here and would need a lot of luck to eliminate the favourites.

Benin have lost four of their last five games. This win they took 1-0 over Botswana, a limited team, on the 27th of December. They did deserve to win, having generated 0.72 more in expected goals (xG) than Botswana but did not really impress me. In their last game they did have some scoring chances but lost to Senegal 0-3. The Senegalese fully deserved to win - despite the final score flattering them to some extent. Egypt have won three of their last four matches. In their most recent game they played a goalless draw with Angola but this was for Egypt to win the group. Before this they beat South Africa, a dangerous opponent, 1-0 despite not being quite at their best. Egypt M. Hany was sent off in the 45th minute but they still generated 0.31 more in xG! In round 1 Egypt beat Zimbabwe only 2-1 but the xG numbers were 3.11-0.37!
