AVS Futebol SAD VS Gil Vicente

AVS is sitting in last place with only 2 points in 10 games what is quite awful even for their standards but their biggest mistake was starting the season with their Coach who was one and is one of the worst coaches in Portugal, now they made some changes and got Coach Joao Sousa who is a decent coach and who made some nice results in other clubs but in those clubs he had way more talented players than he has here at AVS, so their season will be fight till the end to survive and I believe they will not be able to do it unless they get some new players in the transfer window in a couple of months from here. However, after starting the season with 4 home losses they finally got a draw in their last game, a 2:2 against Tondela, another team who is struggling like them and even they got a point they were kinda lucky, Tondela should have won that game but overall AVS showed some improvements in compare to the other games.

For this game AVS is without Molina and Algobia.

Gil Vicente is doing the right things, last season they were struggling big time and they got Coach Cesar Peixoto who saved them and with a full off season they built a team that the Coach wanted and now they are taking advantage of that, they are sitting in 4th place and in my opinion playing the best football in Portugal. What makes this Gil Vicente team strong is they don't have any weak spots, in every sector they are rock solid and have good players and most importantly has a collective they are playing amazing together and that's why they won 7 of their 10 games in the league, the only games they didn't win was against the good teams, Famalicao on the road they got a draw, always a tough stadium to play and than they lost to Porto at home and Benfica on the road and to be really fair, they didn't deserved to lose none of those games, against Benfica they even deserved to win the game because they were clearly the better team that day but just weren't able to take care of their chances.

For this game Gil Vicente is without Bamba.

Gil Vicente has been playing like I said the best football in Portugal even better than the elite teams in my opinion and they are on a great 3 win streak, beating Estrela at home by 2:0, Alverca on the road by 4:0 and Santa Clara by 1:0 at home, attack is creating tons of chances and their defensive line has been rock solid and now they will face the worst team in the league who has struggled big time and who has the worst defense in the league and also Coach Cesar Peixoto asked the team to be not over confidenced for this game and to be focused so the coach knows that the only way the team don't beat AVS would be because Gil Vicente just goes to the game cocky what I don't believe, not only because the Coach said that but also what happen last season where they lost here, but this season is a different Gil Vicente team, a much stronger one with better players and Coaching staff and in the end I believe that if Gil Vicente takes care of their chances they will get here another win.
