Central Coast Mariners collected 2 wins in the first 2 games played. The 1st win against Newcastle Jets were lucky but against Macarthur they deserved the win.

A very good start considering that last year Central Coast Mariners collected 5 wins in total from 26 games.

In past 2 years of A-League they finished always in last place but for this season things look better.

Of course they are not a playoff team but still signed many quality players.

Now their team is strength after 3 last foreigners completed the quarantine in Australia and are ready to play. St Urena form Gwangju, mid Jankovic from Belgrade and mid Janota from Al Fateh.

Central Coast Mariners played the last game around 2 weeks ago and had more time to preparate for today.

Western Sydney Wanderers managed to draw in the derby against Sydney. They are one of teams that impressed so far starting from the coach Carl Robinson. Very good football and strong defensive team.

Taking a draw from the best team in A-League is not something easy.

This is their 3rd game in 10 days and maybe coach will make some changes.

However I see Central Coast Mariners very difficult to beat especially at this conditions where WSW can feel some fatigue after the derby and the 3rd game in 10 days.
