In my opinion West Ham have really good chances to make 3 points in today's match up.

West Ham don't have any new absences, so their line up should look exactly the same like in previous round. They are still without central defender Balbuena (14 matches), but experienced Dawson looked very good in last 4 matches. On the other hand WBA is without first goalkeeper Johnstone (17 matches), left defender Townsend (8 matche) and wingers Phillips (14 matches), Grant (12 matches) and Diangana (15 matches). Because of that WBA left side looks poor with Gibbs (7 matches) in defense and Grosicki (1 match) in offense.

West Ham have very solid record at home against WBA - they went unbeaten in last 9 home matches in a row against them. WBA didn't won away match against West Ham since 2002. There was plenty of goals in last matches between both teams in London - 25 goals in last 7 West Ham home matches against WBA in Premier League. Today West Ham should be able to score some goals as well.

No Premier League team has scored at least one goal in more games so far than West Ham - they scored at least one goal in 15 of 18 matches so far. Today they will face the worst defense in whole league and they should score without too many problems. WBA conceded already 41 goals in 18 matches (2.3 goals per game). They conceded at least one goal in 16 of 18 matches. In 7 of last 9 matches they conceded more than one goal, 4 times more than 2. WBA conceded at least one goal in last 10 away Premier League matches in a row. In 9 away matches in current season they conceded 17 goals.

WBA in last round recorded second win in current season, they won 3:2 in derby match against Wolves, but they still doesn't looked convincing - Wolves is in poor form and still was able to score 2 goals (they scored more than one goal only in two of last 12 matches prior to game against WBA). Two of three WBA goals against Wolves came from penalty kicks. WBA have the worst offense in league - only 2.8 shots on target per game, they created only 8 big chances to score so far and they scored 0.8 goals per game. In 9 away matches so far they scored 9 goals, but they should score less (expected goals scored: 6.91). For sure they will have big problems against extremely solid West Ham defense - they kept clean sheet already 7 times in 18 matches. Team is full of confidence - they won last 3 matches in a row in all competitions and they really starts to looks like team with chances to finish inside top8 at the end of the season. In last two rounds they won to nil against stronger teams than WBA - Everton and Burnley. For sure they wants to go with momentum today. WBA for me still are the biggest favorite to be relegated.

West Ham won already against Leeds and Fulham (two others newcomers) and I see good chances for hattrick after game against WBA. West Ham likes to play on Tuesday - they went unbeaten in last 8 home Premier League matches this day (6 wins in the process). On the other hand WBA have awful record on Tuesdays - they are without a win in 29 Premier League matches in a row this day (16 losses in the process).

David Moyes won last 6 matches in a row in the Premier League against teams managed by Sam Allardyce. Allardyce played 3 matches against West Ham since he left the club and lost all of them.
