The team of Mali has in sensational form since then, picking up 5 wins and 1 draw from 6 competitive games to secure safe promotion into the playoffs of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. For Mali this is their 12th participation in the Africa Cup of Nations. Only Senegal have played more games than Mali at AFCON without ever winning the title. One good info we have is that Mali never lost their first, opening game at the Africa Cup of Nations (6 wins and 5 draws).

I expect two teams to continue the tradition and Mali to get at least 1 point here, there is a lot of quality players in this team and odds were adjusted during the last days, when Tunisia was 2,1 favourite, now the things look quite different.
