Very interesting game between Comoros and Gabon. The rest of Group C is completed with Morocco and Ghana.

Comoros qualified for the 1st time in their history for the biggest African competition. They managed to finish 2nd leaving behind Togo and Kenya. However the football is not very popular in the island.

For a long time the Comorian national team didn't had any history in the African football. All the players are coming from foreign leagues mostly France,Netherlands and Cyprus. Best player is st El Fardou who is playing in Serbia.

Coach Amir Abdou have a really old team as all the regular players are over 30 years old.

This could be an handicap where they face fast teams like Gabon.

Gabon in other hand, are partecipating for the 8th time in this continental tournament and will be looking to pass the group stage for the 1st time since 2012.

During the qualifications they finished 2nd in Group D, same points as Gambia but worst goal difference. Of course they are not one of the best teams in Africa but have players who can make the difference comparing to Comoros. Roster is made from players who are regulary playing in Europe, mostly France, Belgium or England.

Captain and best scorer Aubameyang and mid Lemina are positive with coronavirus. Probably coach Neveu will change something from the last friendly 1 week ago against Mauritania. In the attack Aubameyang will be replaced from young talent Eneme Ella who is also playing in Premier League.

I think Comoros have a really low level and experience of Gabon will make the difference.
