Burnley is currently ranked 18th in Premier League with only 11 points after 17 games. They are in very poor form without a win from October and in last 5 games lost 3 including 2 draws.

It's very difficult to believe that they will give priority to this Cup. With Newcastle ready to spend a lot of money, the relegation battle will be more difficult for them.

During this time Burnely had a lot of coronavirus cases between the players. Even coach Sean Dyche will not be in bench for this game because tested positive.

In last training there were only 16 players available. It's very possible that many U23 youngster will be called up.

Currently only a few names are sure that will be missing because still tests are going.

Out are 1st gk Pope (7/0), best scorer st Cornet (12/6), 2nd best scorer st Rodriguez (16/4), st Barnes (10/0), def Roberts (2/0), st Gudmunsson (18/0), mid Brownhill (17/0).

Huddersfield in other hand is fighting for the promotion in Premier League. They are ranked 6th in Championship and if they keep this place will mean playoffs but even direct promotion is only 6 points.

Coach Corberan said "It's a special competition for us. It's a hundred years since we won the competition and every team dreams of trophies. Every trophy starts with one game and we're going to be very respectful and humble but at the same time I always want us to do the best we can. I want to see my players competing at the level I know they can compete".

Out for this game is only def Rowe (1/0) while best scorer Ward (24/7) returned negative and should play.

I think there is not such a big difference between the teams and Burnely probably not giving priority in this Cup.
