Gameday in San Luis de Potosi for the first round between Atletico San Luis & Pachuca.

San Luis will be without Adrian Lozano, William Mejia, Hector Mascorro & John Duque. They made some additions for this season as the experienced striker Abel Hernandez, Rubens Sambueza, Ramon Juarez & Andres Iniestra.

On their side Pachuca made 4 additions for this season, three players are already with the team and able to play this game : Jesus Trindade, experienced player Fernando Navarro & young Pedro Pedraza. They made one month of preparation, Pachuca played 4 friendlies. They made 2 wins, 1 draw & 1 loss.

An important fact also for Pachuca is that they decided to change their coach, they parted away with Paulo Pezzolano who signed in Brazil and replaced him by Guillermo Almada. He wanted to add players as : Geisson Perea, Fernando Navarro & Jesús Trindade, he wanted the departure of Ismael Sosa.

Guillermo Almada is a great coach, he as a lot of experience in Mexico as he coached Santos for more than 100 games, he is playing an offensive football but with a balanced formation a 4-2-3-1 usually and I expect him to use the same with Pachuca as it was the second formation used last season.

Early of season is always difficult but Pachuca made a good pre season, they made good additions, they have a new coach and they have the potential to be champion this year.

I expect a draw on this game but if one team win I expect it to be Pachuca.
