Sassuolo closed the year with a lost 0-3 against Bologna. Very poor game from them who didn't give value to positive results that they got like draw against Fiorentina or wins against Lazio and Milan.

Especially the missings of Scamacca and Fratessi one of the best players in Serie A this season, are a big blow for Sassuolo.

Genoa in other hand with the change of ownership changed also the coach. Shevchenko managed to stop Atalanta in a draw 0-0 after 4 consecutive losts since being in charge.

So far Genoa collected 11 points after 19 games and should fight hardly against relegation. They signed 2 players def Ostigard from Brighton and young talented def Hefti from Young Boys.

Out for today are def captain Criscito (16/6) positive, mid Sturaro (14/0) and mid Rovella (16/0).

Genoa should take advantage of Sassuolo missings and will try to get at least a draw in this game. Against Atalanta they showed that can stop any team.
