OGC Nice VS Benfica

Nice has high hopes to finally go back to the Champions League after decades but their draw for the Champions League qualifications got crazy, it's will be very hard for all four teams, Nice, Benfica, Feyenoord and Fenerbahce, only one team will get the spot. Also Nice lost some key players this off-season and will miss their best striker from last season Evann Guessand for this and also two defenders what can be a big problem against this Benfica team and yesterday they got also another bad news, they were trying to sign a new players but he didn't passed Medicals exams what puts Nice is a tough spot here for this elimination. However, they have one edge over Benfica, they had a proper pre-season with 6 games in compare to the very short pre-season from Benfica.

Benfica this season has high hopes but with this draw in the Champions League even they are one of the favourites to pass it will not be easy because those 4 teams fighting for one spot are really good teams in compare to other teams they could have gotten but now it's nothing they can do, they need to win both eliminations but first this one. Benfica pre-season because of the participation of the World Club Cup has not been a great one, they only played one friendly game against Fenerbahce at home where they won by 3:2 and than in the SuperCup they beat their rival Sporting by 1:0, so their spirits are very high now. In terms of injuries they are missing Bruma, Bah and Araujo but overall not a big deal.

It's never easy to play on the road in this type of games but still I don't think Benfica is the underdog here, I think Benfica has the quality to get a positive outcome here and that means not losing the game, a draw would be fine for them too because at home they would have the chance to get the win and even I think Nice is still a good team they have some concerns here, they will miss their best striker and really doesn't have anyone to take care of that spot so Benfica defensive line should feel confidence here to manage to control their attack and Benfica on the attack has enough players with quality to give Nice a hard time too since they are without some defenders in that area for the game too, overall, I think Benfica has good chance here to get a positive outcome in this 1st leg.
