In my opinion Tottenham is clear favorite of today's match up and they should be able to make 3 points.

In overall Tottenham have good record against Watford as they won 10 of last 17 league matches against them. Is not long trip at all, Watford is placed very close to London.

Watford have awful streak in first matches of the new calendar year-they lost 8 of last 10 such matches. On the other hand Tottenham won 6 of last 7 matches played in new year.

Both teams with Italian coaches on the benches. Tottenham manager Antonio Conte have good Premier League record against Italian coaches as he won 4 of 5 matches, on the other hand Claudio Ranieri lost last 4 such matches in a row.

Since Claudio Ranieri came to Watford in middle of October they played 10 Premier League matches and lost 8 of them. Not too much changed, they still have extremely poor defense. They are still without clean sheet in current season and Watford conceded at least one goal in last 27 Premier League matches in a row. For me is extremely hard to imagine clean sheet for them today. Watford lost last 5 matches in a row and in each game conceded at least two goals (3 times even more). With Ranieri on the bench Watford conceded in average 2.5 goals per game.

Conte have brilliant start in Tottenham, he is first manager in club history to went unbeaten in his first 7 Premier League matches on the Spurs bench and he have all required tools to continue this streak today. Tottenham offensive trio Moura/Kane/Son should be able to make a lot of damage today. Moura had 2 goals and 2 assists in last 3 matches. In last round he played 28 minutes against Southampton and even in that short period of time he recorded 3 shots on target. Son scored 5 goals in last 6 matches against Watford. In Premier League history any player not scored more goals than Kane in New Year Eve (5 goals and 3 assists).

Today Watford will play at the back with Kucka (he is not defender at all), with Sierralta (played only 4 matches so far), with out-of-form Cathart and with Masina (10 matches). Tottenham should be able to score goals without any problems and finish with three points in the pocket.
