CR Flamengo vs FC Bayern Munich

Flamengo did what was expected from them to advance to the next round but they did in 1st place after starting the tournament with a 2:0 win over Esperance Tunis, than they beat Chelsea by 3:1 and made some rotations in the last game against Los Angeles FC who ended in a 1:1 draw in a game they made some rotations. Personally, this is South America best team in this tournament but not sure it will be enough for them to beat this Bayern Munich team, yes, Flamengo has solid players like De Arrascaeta, Gerson, Plata, Jorginho, Bruno Henrique and Pedro for example but on the other side we have elite players and even Flamengo was good in their group stage they faced weak competition, yes, they beat Chelsea 3:1 but Chelsea hasn't really looked good in this tournament, tired team and playing bad games overall and also Chelsea had a red card who kinda costed them the game, even they were 1:2 down before the red card but in every game we saw Flamengo's defensive line making mistakes and if they do those against this Bayern team things can get ugly.

Bayern on the other side was expected to advance in this group in 1st place but only ended in 2nd place. They started the tournament with an easy 10:0 win over Auckland City without even forcing the issue, than they played Boca Junior and won by 2:1 in a game they dominated the whole game with ease and should have won it by bigger numbers and in the last game they were only fighting for the number one spot with Benfica and made heavy rotations and lost to Benfica 0:1 in a game they should have won easily too, they created many chances especially in the 2nd half but on the other side their was a goalkeeper named Trubin who was defending everything in that day and costed Bayern the 1st place but overall Bayern has looked really good in this tournament and one of the rare teams from Europe that seems that has some goals to fight for the title here since they played with great pace and atitude on the field.

This game is the 2nd one of the day what is key for me, if this would have been the early game I think Flamengo could surprised Bayern here because of the heat but since this is the 2nd game of the day I think Bayern will just be fine like we saw in the other games and they already played in this stadium against Boca Juniores and dominated. I think Flamengo can score in this game because Bayern's defensive line still commit mistakes like we saw against Boca Juniores in a game they were dominating and one mistake almost costed them the win but on the other side Bayern's attack is elite and Olise has been playing lights out in this tournament and with him, Coman, Gnabry and Kane those players can give Flamengo's defensive line a lot of problems, if they struggled against weaker teams on defense they will have a hard time against Bayern in my views, I expect Bayern to score multiple times against them and in the end beat Flamengo here.
