KuPS started the season well results-wise - 6 wins and one draw in the first seven games -  but also had quite a lot of luck on their side in many of these seven matches! Moreover, KuPS have lost three of these five games and I believe this has had an effect on their level of confidence. They are undoubtedly in decline, more steep than the bookmakers seem to realize.. Yes, they easily beat two very bad lower league (mainly) amateur teams in the Suomen Cup but I will not give these wins a lot of emphasis ahead of this match.. Both teams recorded four shots on goal but Inter did generate more in xG. Let's remember that Inter have not lost a single game in the Veikkausliiga this season - crushing Jaro 5-0 in their last game.. Before this Haka defeated Gnistan 3-2 at home in a Suomen Cup battle. Haka were - for some reason -  not at their best in the first half but were strong in the last 45 minutes – deserving to qualify for the next round.. On the 31st of last month they beat VPS from Vaasa, a team that finished in 5th place last season, 2-1 at Tehtaan Kenttä. Haka recorded more total shots (13-8), shots on target, big scoring chances and also generated more in xG than VPS! It was a good, mature performance from Haka as a whole. On the 28th of May Haka swept past Union Plaani 6-0 at home in the Suomen Cup!
