Barcelona and Athletic will fight for the first title this season in Spain. Barcelona asian handicap -0.75 is my bet here.

Barcelona suffered a lot to win against Real Sociedad (better team than Athletic), playing without Leo Messi (injured) but with good performances by other players like Dembele or Griezmann. In the last weeks the level of Barcelona has been growing progressively, and now they are playing very well.

The only problem on this pick is Leo Messi. On Friday he didn't train, but on Saturday he made part of the training and for today is available. Maybe not for the whole 90 minutes, but at least will be on the bench if he is needed.

In the last games we are seeing Barcelona dominating the games, with a very strong attack and scoring goals easily thanks to the new system 4-3-3. Midfielders Pedri and De Jong both are looking very comfortable with the system of coach Ronald Koeman, which is pretty important to dominate matches.

On the other side, Athletic Club managed to qualify deservedly winning against Real Madrid, in a game where Madrid made several mistakes at the back and were harmless in attack. With the new coach they are making a high pressure, but I don't see them able to stop Barcelona here.

Both teams already played a couple of weeks ago, and Barcelona won easily 2:3. Result should have been higher, but missed some chances and Athletic scored at 3’ and 90’ (lack of concentration). In that game, Barcelona dominated the match. Athletic’s midfield with Vencedor and Dani Garcia don't have enough quality to dominate games or get the ball possession.

I see Barcelona a difficult rival for Athletic. The plan of making a high pressure won’t be good because Barcelona is an excellent team breaking high pressures and playing with spaces, thanks to fast players like Dembele or Griezmann. So I can’t really see any scenario favorable to Athletic here. They will be dominated and their pressure will be broken by Barcelona easily.

With Messi of course all will be easier, but even without him I see Barcelona favorite here. For Athletic, achieving the final winning Madrid and in the third official game with a new coach is already a success, while for Barcelona and Koeman the victory is almost mandatory. This isn’t a big title, but nonetheless is a title which is very needed in the club.

Both teams have huge motivation but I see Barcelona one step above here.

这两支球队都有着巨大的动力，但我认为巴塞罗那有望赢球。
