KuPS has shown an upward trend at the start of the season. The quality of performances has improved game by game, particularly in ball possession. The recent 1-0 home win against SJK was well-deserved, with the final score accurately reflecting the match events. KTP, on the other hand, suffered a 1-3 home defeat against AC Oulu in the previous round after being reduced to ten men early in the match. Illnesses have affected KTP's squad, and the situation does not appear to have improved during the week. The potential return of Petteri Forsell, who missed the last two games, would be welcome news for KTP. The difference in basic quality favors KuPS, giving them a strong home advantage with an estimated 75% probability of winning. The difference in quality and KTP’s tendency for high-scoring games raise the expected goal count to around three, and probably KuPS will score all of them!
