In my opinion Lazio have all the required tools to make 3 points in today's match up.

Lazio came for this game with big mental advantage as they won all 3 previous matches against Venezia. First match of the season between both teams finished with Lazio 3:1 win at home and according to the expected goals scored model, that was fully deserved result (Lazio had 2.39, Venezia 0.62).

Venezia at home had problems with top teams, they lost already against Inter, Atalanta and Roma - team from Lazio level. In addition to that, team is without any confidence. They lost last 3 consecutive matches (failed to score in last two in a row) and conceded 6 goals in the process. I believe today Venezia also going to concede more than one goal. They are still without their first goalkeeper Stankovic. It's huge blow as he was the best team player in current season of Serie A.

On the other hand, Lazio offensive formation is in great form. They scored 9 goals in last 3 matches. They just came from scoring 2 goals against Napoli, leader of the table! Everything clicking together for Lazio in attack and for me is hard to imagine less than two goals for guests in this game.

Lazio in current season producing comfortable wins on the road against teams form bottom half of the table and I see continuation of that streak today. In current season Lazio won on away Cagliari, Verona, Lecce, Monza or Como. Why not against out of form Venezia?
