Reigning champions Melbourne City started the A-League with 4 points after 3 games. Managed to win against Brisbane Roar, draw against Adelaide United and lost against Western United. The last game was very unlucky missing big chances to score but the defense keep leaving spaces.

In transfer market they signed some good players like st Sturrige long experience in Premier League, st Sardinero from OFI Crete, mid O'Neill from Buriram and gk Jones from Al Nassr. Players left are st Oikonomkdis (9/4), def Geria (13/0), mid Kilkenny (18/1) and st Chianese (12/4) end of loan.

Out for this game are gk Jones and st Sturrige.

In what we see from these first games Melbourne City this year are not as strong as previous. Most of players are old and new signings not yet ready to make the difference. It should be more closed than odds suggest.
