In my opinion Montpellier have really good chances to make at least one point in this match up.

Montpellier currently have really good streak against Monaco. They lost only once in last 7 Ligue matches against them. In last match between both teams at this stadium Montpellier made comfortable win 3:1.

Montpellier coming for today's with the strongest possible line up, they don't have any important absences. On the other hand Monaco today is without key central midfielder Fabregas (1 goal and 2 assists in 10 matches) and talented central midfielder Luis (6 matches).

In overall Montpellier is very solid Ligue 1 team, they finished last 3 seasons in a row inside top10. They plays good season now as well - 8th place after 19 rounds. They lost 4 of last 11 league matche, but they played against strong teams like Marseille, Lille or Paris. Montpellier don't have problems with goalscoring, they scored at least one goal in 16 of 19 league matches so far, 9 times they scored more than one goal. They are extremely solid at home - they went unbeaten in 60 of last 81 home league matches. In current season they were able to beat at home very strong Lyon 2:1(leader of the table).

I don't see Monaco as a so big favorite of this match. They have only 5 points more in the table than Montpellier. Of course Monaco is superb team at home, but they plays on much lower level when they have to play on away. Obviously, Monaco won last two matches in a row and I believe we see today overreaction in odds because of that, but I still don't trust for them. Monaco didn't won 3 away matches in a row since 2017. In current season Monaco lost 5 of 9 away matches. For example - they lost on away against Brest (relegation zone). They had a lot of problems in last years with away matches - since season 2018/2019 Monaco played 42 away league matches and they recorded only 11 wins. In current season Monaco conceded 14 goals in 9 away matches, they conceded at least one goal in 7 of last 8 away matches. I believe Monaco central defenders Maripan & Badiashile will have a lot problems today with Montpellier attacking duo - Laborde (6 goals and 5 assists) & Delort (8 goals and 6 assists).

I believe these odds are really incorrect and for me is hard to see Monaco as a so big favorite on away against very solid at home Montpellier. Hosts should be able to score at least one goal and finish today's match with at least one point.
