Manchester United host Arsenal at Old Trafford for this English Pre mier League Round 14 clash. It is an extremely interesting clash between two big English clubs. The match is also very interesting betting-wise as Manchester United, as I have written on various analyses before, continue to under-perform as a team. They have so much talent in the team that the horribly bad way they have performed this season taking into account the players they have in the team as well especially the tactics they have chosen for most matches is something I and probably many other analysts and fans struggle to understand.. Manchester United finally sacked their manager, the club legend, Norwegian Ole Gunnar Solskjær! I have written pretty critically about him on many analyses before and as the season progressed it became more and more evident that he did not have the skills or charisma to coach/lead one of the biggest and richest clubs on the planet. Now they have a a new guy in charge - the new "caretaker manager" and a former ManU player Michael Carrick. It seems the spirit int he team is a bit better now and the Red Devils did beat Villarreal away from home last week in the Champions League. It was a good performance for some 50% of the duration of the match but I would say the 2-0 win came in part thanks to Villarreal being pretty bad. Ralf Rangnick will be the interim manager for ManU and I expect ManU to improve significantly over time but changes are never fast in top football.. He is a great manager but will need time. The harsh reality is that ManU's football still lacks structure and they are unable to press the opponent in any reasonable way except for short periods of time. C. Ronaldo hardly does any defending at all, not to mention Paul Pogba. Pogba will miss today's match though as will important Raphael Varane. Cavani is also out. ManU were very lucky to steal a point from Chelsea on Sunday as the hosts completely dominated the match and ManU scored their goal as a result of a gigantic personal mistake from a Chelsea player. In terms of expected points ManU have also been lucky this season and are once again over-value on the betting market. They are only slim favorites today!

Arsenal have been on the rise lately and a heavy 0-4 loss to Liverpool does not change this fact. Liverpool have been stunningly good lately. Arsenal fight for a top-4 position this season and I currently rate them higher than ManU. Especially their offensive football is a lot more organized and more versatile. This might, however, change as the season goes on. I tight and entertaining battle is expected today and the wise choice to be on is Arsenal to lose.
