Varzim was one of the teams that invested more for this season, buying a lot of players from Chaves that was probably the best team in terms of individual quality. They bought the creative midfielder Ze Tiago, the defensive midfielder Luis Silva, the left defender Joao Reis, they bought aswell the captain of Farense Cassio Scheid, he was champion 2 years ago by Farense in Portuguese 2nd league. They bought a right defender that was formed in SL Benfica, the best goalscorer 2 seasons ago of 2nd League Agdon when he was playing for Oliveirense, bought Tavinho from Vizela who got promoted by achieving the 2nd place, Murilo that was champion by Estoril and Heliardo who got promoted aswell for Arouca. As you can see their main XI is composed by players with good experience and that were already champion by their teams or already got promoted to the 1st league. After a year of disillusionment where they fighted until the last game to avoid the relegation, they decided to invest much more and kept the same coach Antonio Barbosa who was champion last season with Trofense (3rd League, but he just made 2/3 of the season for Trofense). They didn't start well the season, but are more motivated after they have advanced to the next stage of Portuguese Cup after eliminating Maritimo from 1st League. Varzim's home factor is really strong as the population from that city loves football and they fill every game at home, even if it's a Monday or a Saturday. I expect this Varzim with big must win and with an amazing chance to get back to the wins for the league against a team with a lot of quality but that has a lack of experience for this kind of games. Varzim only has 1 absence, the centre-back Luis Pedro but will be replaced by Andre Micael who is better in my opinion.

Probable line-up: Ricardo Nunes; Luis Pinheiro - Andre Micael - Cassio Scheid - Joao Reis; Luis Silva - Nuno Valente - Ze Tiago; Murilo - Tavinho and Heliardo.

Benfica B doing an incredible season so far coached by the ex assistant coach of Bruno Lage in Benfica, Nelson Verissimo. He was the assistant of set pieces in Benfica and this team of Benfica is the best team in set pieces as they were in the last season. He is really good coach preparing this important moments of the game. They are so much better when they play with Paulo Bernardo in the midfield, he is one of the newer diamonds of Benfica's training centre, Caixa Futebol Campus. He is very similar with Rui Costa and Kaka. But he doesn't play always and probably he can miss this game as tomorrow Benfica main team will play against Vitoria Guimaraes for the league cup and the coach Jorge Jesus already said that he will promote a lot of rotation to rest the best players and probably can call Paulo Bernardo for this game. They will be the best team when they play at home, but will feel a lot of problems playing as away because of the lack experience of almost every player, they feel a lot the pressure, the crowd of the stadiums... I cannot see Benfica B beating this motivated Varzim that really needs to get back to the wins. Most of the players that will start tomorrow in the XI played for u23 league last season and they finished in the 4th position. They had Tomas Araujo, Filipe Cruz, Rafael Brito, Martim Neto, Ndour, Tiago Gouveia and Henrique Araujo in the u23.
