Santa Clara are doing a bad season after their best season ever achieving the 6th place beating Vitoria Guimaraes in that race. Daniel Ramos was the coach that achieved that and who started this season with a lot of matches in short periods because of the qualification for Conference League and they had a lot of covid cases in the team. When the team was starting to improve and the best players recovering from injuries they lost now their coach Daniel Ramos as Al Faisaly made him an incredible offer, after losing the best player from the last season, the best goalscorer Carlos JR. Now their coach was the 2nd coach of Roma last season, he decided to leave the team of Paulo Fonseca and so it is his first experience as main coach. They made 1 game with him for the Portuguese Cup against Leiria and won 2-0, but the 1st half they were completely dominated by a team from the 3rd division but Leiria scored an unlucky own-goal and in the 2nd half the game changed. For this game Santa Clara have a very important absence, the centre-back Villanueva who is injured and is very important for the team. The pressure is not so high for Santa Clara as it is for Famalicao, as it will be the first game with this coach. I think that Famalicao is playing well and have better players than Santa Clara and better coach aswell.

Famalicao didn't start this season really well after an amazing end in the season 2020/2021 with this coach Ivo Vieira. I will talk first about this coach, he is a very offensive coach and his teams always play well and always looking to score more goals, he did the impressive job and the best season ever in Moreirense with the 6th position, did amazing job in Academica and in Estoril aswell. It's not an exaggeration, but in my opinion he is in the top-5 of best portuguese coachs in this moment just need a chance in a better club. They are in this moment in the 18th position and this mean the last place in the whole league, but they deserved to win some games for example against Maritimo where they missed 2 clear chances without the goalkeeper and one penalty and they have already played against Porto, Sporting and Vitoria Guimaraes. The team is really improving and they come from an amazing result for the cup against Academica where they beat them by a clear 4-0. One of their best wingers is finally back from injury and already played against Academica and was even Man of the Match, Heriberto Tavares who already worked with the coach Ivo Vieira in Moreirense. He will play today again as Ivo Rodrigues is suspended and in my opinion this is good news as Ivo Rodrigues has some status in the club as he was formed in Porto, but Heriberto is clearly better. They have a big must win for this regarding their last games and the 0 wins they have for the league yet. They are better players and better coach, atleast with more experience for sure, as the Santa Clara's will be the first time coaching. They received from loan one of the best talents in the league, the winger Marcos Paulo loaned by Atletico Madrid, he already played and his doing incredible.
