AIK shouldn’t lose here.

Hammarby is a strong team, but they won't fight for the top positions. They made an amazing campaign in 2019 but after covid and the absence of fans hired them. Didn't make interesting transfers in summer, just replacements for the same level.

They are 7th on table, just managed to win 9 games out of 22 played so far. For this match they will miss some important players like Fender, Fjoluson, Jeahze and Khalili.

On the other hand, AIK is the main reason for this pick. They are an irregular team, maybe have some more points as they deserve, but are 3rd after 22 rounds and fighting for the title. 2nd in table Djurgarden has the same points, while 1st is Malmo with 1 more game played.

Maybe they aren’t strong enough to win the title, but surely will end the season in the top3 positions to play european competitions as they have a good squad.

AIK is the team of the league with less defeats so far (only 4 in 22 games). All of them came as visitors, but the last one was just 2 rounds ago and I don't see them losing again. With only 18 goals conceded, they also have the best defence of the league, that’s why they are so difficult to beat.

Some AIK players like Sebastian Larsson, Alexander Milosevic or Henok Goitom are in great form, and the squad is full of confidence after beating Djurgaren (2nd) in the last round.

This is a derbi, and for sure Hammarby will have bigger motivation due to fans' support. But AIK has shown how strong they are, also a very difficult side to beat, and surely it won’t be easy for the hosts here. I believe that the team with fewer defeats in the league will be able to take at least one point from here and continue fighting for the title.
