This pick is mostly based Norwich being incredibly bad for this level. Post-season I rated "The Canaries" as the second worst team but based on their very weak performances - right from the start of the season I have significantly lowered their power rating. This rating illustrates a team's overall class and I currently rate them as definitely the worst team in the Premier League. Watford are the second worst followed by Newcastle. It is almost impossible to write anything positive about the hosts Norwich! In their most recent match they were bad once again, especially offensively and the point they earned through a 0-0 draw does not excite me at all! Burnley too were lame offensively in that match but would still have deserved a narrow win.. Indeed, the hosts' attack is very limited and Teemu Pukki seems to be almost their only hope for scoring these days - but he has not been at his best lately despite scoring twice for my native country Finland earlier this week versus a weak team Kazakhstan. It might be that the small injury he suffered before the EURO 2020 is still bothering him in some ways.. I also think he is - at the age of over 30 years old, already past his prime as a pro footballer. However, the main problem is that Norwich midfielders and other strikers cannot provide him with enough quality assists. Pukki is, unfortunately for the hosts, not very good at creating scoring chances for himself. It was clear already before the season started that losing Emiliano Buendia, their only true top player, would be a big blow but they have not been able to replace him at all! Norwich's defense is very vulnerable too. They have looked more or less disorganized in every match this season and are in very big trouble especially against opponents with fast players and good counter-attacking.. They have created very little in expected goals in almost all of the matches so they really have not deserved anything this season! I do not think they will take more than 2-3 wins this season and would be shocked if they were to avoid relegation. In the match before facing Burnley they, once again, were clearly outperformed by Everton and lost 0-2.

Brighton,a super unlucky team last season in terms of expected goals and points have been very good all season and have lost just one match so far in the Premier League. The only slightly disappointing match was against a pretty good team Everton - they lost 0-2. They are a very balanced team with a good manager and have no obvious weaknesses and are currently in 6th position in the standings. Very solid football from them indeed. Whilst I do not expect them to be that high up at the end of the season they are good team, a lot better by raw class than the hosts and have clearly over 50% chance of grabbing all three points today. Brighton -0.5 goals handicap is my pick for my growing fan-base to take 8th winner in a row!
