World Cup Qualifications of North and Central America. Jamaica started in a very struggling way with only 1 point collected in 4 games.

Not only the results but also the performances have been very bad for Reggae Boyz. Last game against USA they shot only 1 time on target and had a ball possession of only 38%.

The same happened with Panama and it was even more painful lost.

For this campaign Jamaica called up a very limited team leaving out some of the most experienced and quality players.

Def Liam Moore, def Hector, mid Johnson, mid Stewart, st Michail Antonio and st Leon Bailey are all left out. Most of they play in England leagues. Especially Antionio who is the best scorer ever of West Ham in Premier League and Bailey are big blows because Jamaica struggle a lot to create scoring chances.

For this game out is def Lowe (36/2) because of suspension.

Canada in other hand is coming after a good draw against Mexico 1-1. They showed great teamwork and defensive solidity.

Currenlty Canada is ranked 3rd collecting 6 points after 4 games. Not a big result but they faced all the top teams so far Mexico,USA,Honduras so the draws against these teams should be considered very important for the qualification.

Comparing to the Gold Cup, now Canada have a more complete roster with st Jonathan David and def Alphonso Davies who are the top players.

Out for this game are mid Buchanan (13/2), def Vitoria (25/2), mid Eustaquio (14/3) and def Laryea (19/1) all suspended.

I think Canada have more quality and are in great form. With current roster Jamaica is probably the worst team in all competition.
