In Ligue 1 there is a good bet on the home team to win, a simple bet for smaller odds.

Nice are doing a wonderful job under the current coach Galtier, who won the title last season with his previous team Lille. You all know what Lille win means in the world of football, winning Ligue 1 in front of richest club in the world, PSG.  So, we can expect good things from Nice this season, and be aware that Nice is bought by USA rich investors and they want to see their side in the French top. Perhaps the most addition they have made has come in the dugout, where head coach Christophe Galtier was belatedly secured from Lille, where he became a Ligue 1 champion. He is a manager who knows when it is right to be pragmatic but is capable of doing so in a balanced fashion. Equally, there has been a significant investment on the playing side of things, too. Nice have focused on young players who may well have sell-on value in the future but, with the likes of Calvin Stengs and Jean-Clair Todibo, the expectation is that these players are also capable of playing a successful role for Nice now and it looks like they can do it. The defence look very similar as it did last season, with Walter Benitez in goal. Although William Saliba has left after his loan expired, Dante has returned from injury to make up for that. Todibo, meanwhile, should be a starter. Nice have depth in the centre of the midfield, particularly since Mario Lemina and Pablo Rosario have arrived to provide further options in a defensive sense. European football will be the least expected, with a challenge for the Champions League spots likely.

Visitors from Dijon are not doing well, lost previous two games, biggest candidates to relegate and they are without suspended defender Lillan Brassier, goalkeeper Sebastian Cibois, defenders Christophe Herelle, Jere Uronen, and attacker Romain Del Castillo. So, this travel is hard - everything else then a loss for Dijon would be a huge surprise. Predicting 2-0 Nice to win.
